HP Pavilion dv5t Entertainment Notebook

Hewlett-Packard revealed the HP Pavilion dv5t Entertainment Notebook PC which featuring a 15.4-inch screen and Intel Montevina mobile platform Centrino 2.

The HP Pavilion dv5t includes the Intel Core 2 Duo 45nm processor at 2 – 2.8 GHz, depending on the model. There is also the new GMA X4500 integrated graphics or a dedicated Nvidia GPU – GeForce 9200M GS 256MB or GeForce 9600M GT 512 MB The laptop supports up to 4GB of DDR2 memory, until to 320 GB of hard drive storage and a DVD burner or Blu-Ray ROM. The 15.4 “display in this notebook has a resolution of 1280 × 800 or 1680 × 1050 pixels, depending on customer choice.

The HP DV5 sports 802.11b / g wireless LAN support or the Intel Wireless WiFi Link 5100AGN module supporting 802.11n draft standard. There is also an optional Bluetooth module, and a LAN Ethernet port. According to specifications, the DV5 does not have a modem.

HP dv5t features Altec Lansing stereo speakers, camera and web optional fingerprint reader, HDMI and VGA output, four USB ports (4th shared with eSATA port), an ExpressCard slot, 5-in-1 reader media card, and the infrared receiver.

HP claims the dv5t weighs 5.83lbs with a 6-cell battery. The dv5t includes the new high-gloss HP Mesh Imprint 2 finish with a grid pattern in onyx and chrome.

The laptop comes with Windows Vista 32-bit or 64-bit operating system and can be purchased through the HP Web site for a starting price of $ 899.99.
