Dell Inspiron Mini 9 Netbook

Dell has launched the Dell Inspiron Mini 9 NETBOOK low cost, with a 8.9-inch Intel Atom processor clocked at 1.6 GHz. Its bright screen has a resolution of 1024X600 pixels and uses LED backlighting, according to product specifications.

The Inspiron Mini 9 comes with 512 MB or 1 GB of DDR2 memory, 8 GB or 16 GB of storage of solid state disk, Intel GMA 950 graphics processor, a 4-stack and 1.3-megapixel webcam.

The NETBOOK has a speaker, three USB ports, an 802.11g wireless, optional Bluetooth, Ethernet LAN port, 3-in-1 card reader and a VGA output. The Dell Inspiron Mini 9 that runs on Windows XP operating system starts at $ 399. However, one page at Dell.com said the mini-laptop will also be available with Ubuntu Linux 8.04, with a price to pay $ 349 for the basic configuration.
